Digital pet portrait - colored sketch

A custom sketch portrait of a single pet or favorite animal that is colored in simple painterly strokes. It can be drawn as either a bust or a fullbody portrait. For pets I need one or several good photos of each pet that clearly shows all of its individual features like colors, eyes, nose, muzzle, etc. and that ideally shows your pet(s) how you'd like to remember them. Feel free to send as many pictures as you like, the more I can reference the better your portrait will be! For wildlife animals you can either send me some of your own pictures from the zoo or we can select from my own library, licence free images and from similar legal sources.

After I've received your order I'll get back to you via email to discuss the details of your commission. At that point, feel free to send over any additional images if you'd like to send more than the order form has space for.

The painting will be a .JPG file and have 300dpi and between 3000-6000 pixels in size minimum. You will receive an un-watermarked .jpg copy via email.
Your painting will usually be completed within 5 days once I've started. This type of portrait usually won't have progress shots to send, since it's largely done in just a single sitting.

Important:

The delivery time of custom painted works will naturally be much longer than that of independent works. Depending on order situation and complexities of the orders it can take several weeks or even months to complete your portrait. Please keep that in mind especially if you're purchasing commissioned artwork as a gift.

Regarding the Copyright of reference images: Please note that I can only use photos that you either took yourself or that are licence free. In the case of professional photography especially I need explicit written permission by the photographer in order to use them as reference for painting.
